Oct 13 — Dalian Commodity Exchange deputy GM Wang Yufei told an industry forum
that the steel sector remains a key pillar of China’s economy. Against a
backdrop of complex global dynamics, evolving raw-fuel supply‑demand and a
deepening green low‑carbon transition, the industry is undergoing structural
adjustment and a push for higher quality and efficiency. The DCE said it will
continue to serve national strategy and the real economy by improving the
operational quality of coal, coke and ore contracts to support the industry
chain’s response to change and stable development.
