Bulgaria will summon Russia's ambassador to Sofia after two vessels were
attacked near its territorial waters, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said. Around
01:30 local time on Tuesday the Malta‑flagged cargo ship Chelsea 3, owned by
Ukrainian interests, was hit about 18 nm off the coast near Byala; crew reported
an attack by three aerial drones and were rescued. Preliminary reports say a
second vessel was also struck and sank about 17 nm off Krapets. Radev said
Bulgaria lacks conclusive, clear evidence to blame any specific party but added
that, logically, the outcome benefits Russia.
