Saudi Arabia warned Riyadh may face a hostile aerial threat.

The Ifo Institute said on Tuesday that tighter limits on access to training data for AI models could reduce Germany’s potential annual value added from generative AI by €155 bln. Ifo estimates generative AI could raise German output by about €440 bln per year by 2034; restrictions on training data would cut that gain by €155 bln. Ifo expert Oliver Falck said anyone aiming to build leading European AI models should not impose unnecessary limits on access to training data.

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said Russia launched a missile strike on Kyiv, again without prior warning. The main target was energy infrastructure, specifically Kyiv Thermal Power Plant No.4 (TPP-4).
