Oct 14 — Qualcomm said a jury found Arm violated their long‑standing
architecture license agreement (ALA), failed to meet commitments and
deliberately acted to disrupt Qualcomm’s business; Qualcomm said it was
gratified by the finding. On Oct 13 Arm said it was satisfied with the jury
verdict, which ruled for Arm on four claims and awarded Qualcomm only $1 on two
other claims. On Sept 30 Qualcomm said a U.S. District Court for the District of
Delaware judge had earlier ruled for Qualcomm on all claims in Arm’s lawsuit,
dismissed Arm’s challenges, and held that Qualcomm and its unit Nuvia did not
breach the Nuvia‑Arm license.
