Oct. 14 — The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said China and the EU reached a consensus on hybrid and electric vehicle trade under the bilateral trade and investment consultation mechanism. CAAM said it welcomes the outcome, will continue to act as a bridge to promote industry communication and coordination, and supports implementing the consensus and resolving remaining differences to preserve a fair, open, non‑discriminatory trade environment and facilitate the auto sector’s green transition.

Russia's Foreign Ministry summoned Belgium's ambassador in Moscow on Oct. 13 and rejected what it called increasingly frequent and unfounded claims by Belgian military and political leaders that Russia is mounting growing hybrid, sabotage or direct military threats against Belgium and Europe, the ministry said on its website.
