Alibaba is developing an e-commerce edition of Qianwen Office aimed at multi-platform merchants, with a planned release ahead of Singles’ Day pre-sales. The project began preparations in June and moved into concentrated development in September; nearly 100 staff are assigned. The effort is overseen by Qianwen Office CEO Chen Yusen, with Huang Pipei responsible for delivery. The e-commerce team provides industry skills and merchant insight; the Qianwen Office team supplies core agent capabilities and leads product coordination.
