BYD said the second China-EU Trade and Investment Consultations in the
automotive sector produced an important consensus that effectively managed trade
disputes, avoided escalation, and balanced industry realities and legitimate
concerns on both sides. The company said the outcome creates a stable,
predictable and sustainable framework for China-EU hybrid vehicle trade. BYD
added it will continue to pursue technological innovation and emissions
reductions and expects to cooperate with domestic peers to support the orderly
internationalization of China’s auto industry.
