A U.S. source told the New York Post that Russian diesel is expected to flow
into the U.S. market ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. The source said
deliveries could arrive 'within two weeks' if all goes to plan and that Russia
has agreed to supply 'substantial' volumes, but gave no details on shipping or
logistics. U.S. pump diesel prices hit a record $6.53/gal last month.
