TrendForce's 2026 Near-Eye Display Market Trends and Technology Analysis report says AR glasses are shifting from proof-of-concept to consumer products, driven by stronger-than-expected demand from Meta's Ray-Ban Display Glasses that is accelerating brand and supply-chain rollouts. Other AR brands are expanding product lines and sales to capture spillover consumer trial while major tech firms have yet to fully enter the market. TrendForce forecasts global AR glasses shipments rising from 620,000 units in 2025 to 1.31 mln in 2026, up 111.1%.
