At the 2026 Shanghai Derivatives Market Forum co‑hosted by the China Financial Futures Exchange and SHFE, Shanghai Futures Exchange chairman Tian Xiangyang said SHFE will deepen its metals, energy and shipping product suites, press to list LNG and corrugated‑paper futures and options, and advance R&D on strategic foundational products such as electricity. The exchange will also strengthen cross‑border service capacity and expand use cases for Shanghai benchmark prices.
