Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 3,318.34 points, or 4.90%, to 64,425.95 at the close on
Oct. 15. South Korea's KOSPI closed down 454.54 points, or 7.56%, at 5,554.27;
it plunged over 9% intraday and triggered its 10th circuit-breaker of the year.
South Korean financial regulators held an emergency market meeting in the
afternoon. SK Hynix initially closed down 11.06%; Samsung Electronics fell
9.48%.
