MSCI said on Thursday it has launched a consultation proposing to reclassify the Indonesian equity index from Emerging Markets to Standalone Market, citing market participants’ concerns including insufficient equity ownership transparency and suspected coordinated trading. A drone struck an industrial site in the Surgut area of western Siberia in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, causing a fire, governor Ruslan Kukharuk said.
