MOFCOM and the Ministry of Science and Technology opened public consultation on revisions to the China Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited or Restricted from Export and will subject related technology exports to temporary registration management. The draft covers 40 technologies across artificial intelligence, biomedicine and photovoltaics; the AI list includes 23 items such as large models, autonomous agents, compute clusters and information-processing technologies.
