A team led by CAS academician Yu Dapeng at the Shenzhen International Quantum Research Institute (Tan Dian group), together with researchers from the University of Stuttgart, experimentally prepared and transmitted genuine multipartite entangled phonon states on a scalable two-dimensional hybrid quantum‑chip platform. The results were published in Science on the 16th (Beijing time).

Chancellor John Healey plans to raise bank taxation, which could ease strained public finances but risk a policy rift with Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey.
