SoftBank Group is reportedly considering acquiring Allied Universal, the U.S.'s largest security services firm. The potential deal would value Allied at up to $18 bln equity and, including about $12 bln of debt, push enterprise value to roughly $30 bln. SoftBank ADRs fell as much as 8% on the report. Founder Masayoshi Son is said to seek broader deployment of AI robotics in security and could replace some human guards with robots. Discussions are at a preliminary stage and no final decision has been made.

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said on Saturday that speed limits on Starlink have prevented Ukraine from using its interception systems to counter Russian drone strikes. He said Kyiv is discussing the issue with US officials and was told the restrictions are linked to technical problems. Zelenskiy added that tests of Starlink inside the EU did not show the same constraints and that service there ran at higher speeds.
