The sixth RISC-V China Summit is scheduled for Oct. 18-20 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian). Frost & Sullivan estimates China’s RISC-V main-control chip market expanded from about 1.1 bln yuan in 2021 to roughly 37.7 bln yuan in 2025 and could reach about 219.4 bln yuan by 2030. RISC-V penetration in China’s smart terminals and embodied-intelligence chips is projected to rise from 6.9% and 10.7% in 2025 to 26.7% and 28.2% by 2030. Organizers expect over 3,600 onsite professionals and more than 450 exhibitors and research institutions to attend.

At an Oct. 17 Q3 2026 results briefing, Hikvision said growth over the next several years will be driven by scene digitalization and that it will continue to act as a bridge taking AI from the physical world to the digital world. The company said the era of large AI models has raised AI generalization and cognition; multimodal understanding and complex reasoning are becoming viable, enabling new solutions for previously hard-to-solve scene pain points.
