MOFCOM and eight other ministries issued guidance to speed technology-driven commerce, prioritizing accelerated R&D and commercialization of key technologies in new displays, smart terminals and related fields and urging expansion of application scenarios and viable business models. The guidance calls for demonstration projects and the creation of commercial technology application innovation centers, the cultivation of tech-transfer institutions in consumer goods to fast-track frontier technologies such as brain–computer interfaces and embodied intelligence to market, and support for trade firms in intelligent warehousing and digital supply chains to apply for 'specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative' enterprise designation.
