He said manufacturers must use technology upgrades to lower costs, improve quality and maintain quality baselines, while the application side should shift from build-heavy models to operations-focused approaches to unlock scenario value. CPIA will continue to host technical exchange platforms, push against destructive internal competition and promote full-industry-chain coordination to move China’s PV industry from scale to value leadership. Deputy secretary-general Jiang Hua said the supply side will rely on standards to drive an orderly exit of inefficient capacity, while demand-side growth will be pursued through compute-power coordination and space-based photovoltaics.
