China National Financial Regulatory Administration party secretary and director Ding Xiangqun met Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio on Oct. 14, 2026. They exchanged views on the international economic and financial outlook, the development of China’s financial sector and policies for high-level opening-up.

CACE2027 will run March 17–19 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The show has been expanded to integrate aviation, commercial space and the Beidou navigation track, with exhibition space enlarged to 25,000 sq m (up 67% from the inaugural event); organizers expect more than 550 exhibitors and about 45,000 professional attendees. Seven themed zones will span the China commercial space value chain—satellites, rockets, measurement/testing, transport, applications and investment—spotlighting reusable rockets, intelligent satellite manufacturing and aerospace AI.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Oct. 19 that Russian forces launched multiple waves of ballistic missile strikes without prior warning from partners. He said the attack involved 16 ballistic missiles aimed at Kyiv city and Kyiv region and more than 200 drones, with strikes stretching from Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions to western Volyn and Rivne and southern Odesa. Zelenskiy said the strikes caused casualties, damaged over 10 energy infrastructure sites, cut power to at least 550,000 households and hit medical clinics, schools, metro stations and residential buildings.
