Chery will hold its 2026 Global Innovation Conference in Wuhu on Oct. 20 under the theme Change and will outline its Yaoguang 2035 plan to shift from an automaker to a global intelligent-technology company. The company will unveil an automotive-industry vertical large AI model and a humanoid robot called Mobao; the model integrates Chery’s compute, algorithm and data capabilities and will be paired with an automotive-grade chip designed for physical-world AI models, aimed at systematizing AI-driven vehicle manufacturing and extending technology to real-world use cases.
