ONS: Job vacancies fell by the largest amount since the start of the year, concentrated at small businesses that cited rising labour costs as the primary factor.

NDRC deputy director Liu Dan said the commission will routinely promote investment projects to private enterprises while strengthening top‑level design and deploying a “policy+project+scenario” coordinated approach to remove implicit barriers and restore investor confidence. The NDRC will formalize mechanisms for private participation in major national projects, open competitive infrastructure sectors to fair access by operators, and support deeper private involvement in construction of the six networks. It will boost support for private investment in emerging industries, new‑type infrastructure and consumption upgrades, increase supply of funding, data and talent, and expand new policy financial instruments backing private projects. The commission will step up efforts to resolve arrears owed to private firms and orderly open major scientific research infrastructure to private access.
