MIIT: In Q1–Q3 China’s telecom services volume rose 7.3% YoY; internet business
revenue Jan–Aug up 8.9% YoY. China has built 5.254 mln 5G base stations and is
advancing 5G‑A coverage. 10G PON ports reached 33.4 mln; 10Gbps optical networks
are in pilot deployment in residential communities, factories and parks. As of
end‑September 2026 China’s intelligent computing capacity reached 2,592 EFLOPS,
up 146% YoY, supporting rapid AI industry expansion.
