National Energy Administration data: Total electricity consumption in September was 899.7 bln kWh, up 1.2% YoY. By sector: primary 13.5 bln kWh (+4.1%); secondary 580.0 bln (+1.7%), with industrial use 575.1 bln (+1.8%) and high-tech & equipment manufacturing 116.7 bln (+4.6%); tertiary 185.2 bln (+4.9%), where EV charging/battery-swap and internet data services were 16.8 bln and 9.8 bln kWh, rising 57.0% and 35.4% respectively. Urban and rural residential consumption fell to 121.0 bln kWh, down 6.0%, mainly due to lower cooling demand in high-load central, eastern and southern regions after Typhoon Shadul.
