The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said on Thursday that King Fahd
International Airport in Dammam, in the kingdom's oil-producing east, was
attacked on Wednesday night, killing two people and injuring eight. The
authority said the dead included one Saudi and one Indian national and that
injuries ranged in severity. Officials are assessing damage; airport operations
and air traffic have resumed to normal.
