SpaceX (SPCX.O) shares rose as much as 10% in early trading after the rocket maker reported revenue above Wall Street expectations, including contributions from its AI business. A 5,500-gallon (about 20,800-liter) chemical storage tank ruptured in Toledo, Ohio, on the evening of the 20th, releasing glycidyl methacrylate vapor. Nearly 1,000 residents were evacuated and authorities advised more than 50,000 to shelter indoors; at least 35 people were treated in hospital for eye or throat irritation and local schools were closed. Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz said the leak resulted from a transfer error and officials are allowing the tank to vent naturally to avoid triggering an explosion.
