Oct 21 — State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) director Cheng Fubo met Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury to discuss deepening communication, market access and cooperation. Cheng said Airbus’ presence in China has broadened collaboration with central SOEs and that the Airbus Tianjin final assembly line project is implemented and delivering results. He said central SOEs will push reform-driven upgrading of traditional industries, expand advanced manufacturing and cultivate strategic emerging and future industries, creating additional demand and opportunities for cooperation. Both sides said they will seek to steady expand ties focused on new-technology R&D, supply-chain construction and low-carbon fuels to support stable China–EU trade.
