CITIC Securities says the 2026 Bay Chip Expo expanded, drawing over 6,500
professional buyers and showcasing new domestic equipment and process
technologies. Equipment orders stayed strong in Q3 2026; industry players expect
demand to remain robust for more than three years, and some firms see the
current order acceleration extending into 2028–29. CITIC expects AI-driven
global capacity expansion and process upgrades, together with domestic
substitution, to boost Chinese suppliers' orders and market share, and remains
positive on the domestic semiconductor components and equipment chain.
