After review, Yichun Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau intends to issue an approval opinion on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report submitted by Yichun Times New Energy Mining Co., Ltd. for the Zhenkouli–Jianxiawo lithium mining project in Yifeng and Fengxin counties, Jiangxi. The bureau is publishing the EIA report's basic information for public inspection from Oct 22 to Oct 28, 2026 (five working days), under standard EIA approval procedures.

On Oct. 22 at GAC Group headquarters, China FAW Group Party secretary and chairman Qiu Xiandong and GAC Group Party secretary and chairman Feng Xingya jointly attended the launch meeting of a China FAW–GAC joint working group and held working talks. Citing the national strategy to build an automotive power and the previously signed strategic cooperation framework agreement, they focused on advancing implementation of key cooperation projects and deepening north–south industrial coordination.
