Sun warned US‑UK‑Australia nuclear‑powered submarine cooperation contravenes the NPT’s purpose, poses serious proliferation risks and challenges the treaty and IAEA safeguards. China urged an intergovernmental, open, transparent and inclusive process, based on equality and mutual respect, to seek a mutually acceptable diplomatic solution.
