State Grid said on Oct. 24 that at 20:38 local time power supply in the M7.0
earthquake zone in Baqing, Nagqu, Tibet was fully restored. State Grid Tibet
mobilized 301 repair personnel, 39 vehicles, 19 medium- and low-voltage
generator trucks, 83 sets of emergency equipment and connection materials. Crews
set up on-site command, reopened distribution lines and restored power to
shelters, tents and prefabricated housing, following an on-site “build one,
energize one” procedure. State Grid Tibet said it will continue to prioritize
power protection at key points to ensure affected residents have heating and to
maintain safe, reliable supply.
