CSSC Guangzhou Shipbuilding International said on Oct. 23 it has secured a contract to build two 50,000‑dwt chemical/oil tankers for Monaco-based owner Transocean. Transocean, founded in the 1960s, is a family-owned Monaco operator with a 15-vessel fleet focused on dry bulk and tanker trades.
