Rumors that some consumer NVIDIA GPUs may be discontinued are disrupting
Huaqiangbei’s computer-parts market and driving daily price volatility. Dealers
say the biggest moves from September into October are concentrated in graphics
cards, with rapid channel-price jumps. High-end RTX 50-series: RTX 5090 had an
official launch MSRP of ~15,000–16,000 yuan and channel quotes have surged from
roughly 30,000 yuan a short time ago to about 50,000–60,000 yuan now. RTX 5080
launched near 8,000 yuan; channel quotes have risen to ~17,000 yuan from ~12,000
yuan two weeks ago (a ~4,000–5,000 yuan increase).
