Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Mass General Brigham) said they trained a foundational AI health‑recognition model, FAHR‑Face, on more than 40 mln facial images and used it to build two tools: one to estimate biological age and one to predict cancer patient survival directly from facial photographs. The study was published in Lancet Digital Health.
