Iran’s Supreme National Security Council deputy secretary Bagheri said Saudi
Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir and Turkey’s
intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin will visit Tehran and attend a joint meeting.
Bagheri said Munir had earlier told Supreme National Security Council secretary
Mohsen Rezaei that the three had decided to visit Tehran for talks, and that
Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan could, with Iran, draw on Iran’s experience
during what he called the 'third imposed war' to help build a region-led West
Asia security mechanism.
