MOFCOM has drafted Special Provisions for Protecting China’s Trade Secrets (Draft for Comment) under the PRC Foreign Trade Law and related regulations to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests and to protect the lawful rights of Chinese rights holders, and is soliciting public comments.

French government bond selling paused on Monday after MOODY'S did not downgrade the sovereign rating. Weekend protests wound down largely peacefully, avoiding the previous week's social unrest. France's 10-year yield fell 5.3 bps to 4.9685% and the 10-year spread over Germany narrowed. A Deutsche Bank rates strategist said the temporary relief could persist through Thursday ahead of the ECB rate decision. Markets are increasingly worried the ECB is paying more attention to the adverse impact of rising long-dated yields.
