After strong initial sales of Apple’s first foldable iPhone, market reports said Apple asked suppliers to raise orders by about 30%. Chinese supplier Lens Technology said it will not comment on the rumored percentage. The company, which supplies advanced structural components for the foldable iPhone, said the products are complex and high value-added and have brought a notable business increase. Related production lines are running at capacity and staff are working overtime to ship; Lens said it has prepared capacity for customer demand this year and next and can flexibly respond to further growth.
