Sources: US regulators are probing whether prediction-market operator Polymarket breached a 2022 agreement banning US users. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is examining Polymarket’s US controls and marketing, and is also reviewing customer onboarding and protection measures on its US platform.

On Oct 27 Hongguo Short Drama said on its official account that online reports claiming annualized revenue near 40 bln yuan and this year’s revenue of 42–45 bln yuan are inaccurate. The company said cited “institutional,” “industry” and “expert” figures are not official and related comparisons, extrapolations and interpretations lack factual basis. It added most revenue is being allocated to creator revenue-sharing, copyright minimum guarantees and support for premium content as it grows with short-drama industry partners.
