Oct 28 — At a routine briefing, Taiwan Affairs Office spokesman Chen Binhua
responded to US President Trump’s recent criticism that Taiwanese chips are
undercutting US markets, saying Beijing’s position on Taiwan is consistent and
clear. He accused the DPP of "seeking independence by relying on the US" and of
"selling out the island's leading industries without principles or bottom line,
harming the people's interests," and said this "will only accelerate harming and
destroying Taiwan."
