Refinitiv review of Pentagon data shows the U.S. military has spent more than
$47.0 bln to date on operations against Iran, over 25% above the Pentagon’s July
estimate. Most spending went to replenishing expended ammunition (>$29.0 bln)
and replacing military equipment (>$6.0 bln). The data did not include a cost
estimate for repairs to U.S. bases damaged by Iranian missile and drone strikes.
