Oct 28 — MOFCOM convened a national teleconference in Beijing to review implementation of the consumer-goods trade-in program and deploy next-step tasks. MOFCOM said that since 2026 the programme, coordinated with regional authorities and other departments, has driven over 2 tln yuan in related sales and benefited more than 250 mln people, supporting consumption growth, industrial upgrading and circular recycling.
