FITCH said the upgrades reflect stronger business profiles supporting credit resilience through the cycle and an improving China banking operating environment; it raised China’s operating‑environment score from bbb- to bbb, outlook stable. China International Capital Co said major listed banks’ asset quality indicators are supported by high‑quality client bases and risk controls, keeping overall earnings stable.
