Russian President Putin said on the 28th at the third Russia-Africa Summit and
Economic and Humanitarian Forum in Moscow that a multipolar world is becoming a
reality and the era of domination by a small group of states is over. He said
some countries resisting the shift are obstructing it and rely on trade wars,
illegal sanctions, economic bullying, extortion and interference in other
countries' affairs. Putin said Russia is expanding and deepening economic and
cultural ties with African states and called for deeper cooperation on mineral
extraction and processing, healthcare and local-currency settlement.
