China Index Research Institute said resale (second‑hand) home transactions in 20 monitored cities rose 20% YoY in Oct 1–28, an acceleration versus the prior month. New‑home sales area across 30 monitored cities fell 13% YoY. Beijing, Shanghai and some second‑tier cities sustained high resale market activity. In the new‑home market, Beijing’s sales increased after earlier supply growth and select core‑district projects sold strongly, but most cities remain down YoY.
