TD Securities expects US Q3 GDP to accelerate to 2.5% from 2.2% and core PCE to
tick up to 3.1% YoY from 3.0%; the bank says the data may show sufficient
activity resilience to withstand further Fed tightening. TD Securities notes
consumption and investment remain strong while net exports and inventories could
drag. Ahead of the preliminary Q3 GDP and September PCE releases, the dollar
strengthened and AUD/USD traded near 0.7040 in European hours.
