Russia plans to extend most of its diesel export ban until January 2027 while allowing limited exports under exemptions agreed between President Putin and US President TRUMP, TASS quoted Deputy Prime Minister Novak. The government is drafting an order to extend the ban by three months, Novak said, adding "As before, supplies to international markets will still receive partial exemptions." Novak said Russia plans to export about 2.15 mln tonnes of diesel next month, up from 0.51 mln tonnes this month, and could raise monthly exports to about 3.5 mln tonnes by year-end if domestic supply is sufficient, which would restore roughly a 10% share of seaborne diesel trade. He cautioned the outcome depends on Ukrainian actions; Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries prompted the July reimposition of the ban. As of late October four tankers loaded with Russian diesel have departed Baltic ports.
