China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing on Nov 1 reported national social logistics at 280 trillion yuan in the first three quarters, up 4.9% YoY at comparable prices. The CFLP said logistics activity showed steady improvement, rising quality and efficiency, a shift toward new growth drivers and an improved structure.

On Oct. 31 tens of thousands demonstrated in more than 30 German cities including Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, protesting for better education and lower living costs.
