On Nov. 1 local time, Saudi-led coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said via
social media the coalition carried out a precision strike that morning aimed at
destroying key resources the Houthi movement uses to support its military
operations. Al-Maliki said Houthi attacks threaten civilian lives, civilian
infrastructure and the security of Saudi, Yemeni and southern Red Sea shipping.
The coalition affirmed it will continue necessary measures to prevent the
Houthis from using such resources. The statement did not disclose the strike’s
location or results.
