Korea Exchange, Korea Securities Depository, Korea Securities Finance Corporation and Koscom published a joint roadmap to move equity and related securities settlement from the current T+2 to T+1. The firms said they will begin infrastructure upgrades, aim to complete clearing and settlement system changes by October 2027, and expect to switch to T+1 during 2028. A specific cutover date has not been set.
