Hang Seng rose 0.61% to 23,437.41 and the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 2.85% to
3,862.08. Turnover was HKD114.145bn. AI hardware led the market rally;
semiconductors, PCB and optical-communications subsectors outperformed. Chinese
brokerages and lithium stocks were active. Mainland bank stocks opened strong
then slid; precious metals lagged. Notable movers: Yangtze Optical Fibre & Cable
(06869.HK) +13.47%, CATL (03750.HK) +6.73%, Industrial & Commercial Bank of
China (01398.HK) -2.15%, Zhufeng Gold (01815.HK) -7.26%.
