Russia's human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova said on Nov. 1 the "silence
regime" in the Oleshky humanitarian zone, effective Oct. 27–Nov. 1, has ended.
She said both Russian and Ukrainian sides complied during the ceasefire,
allowing aid deliveries and safe voluntary evacuations. Lantratova said
cooperation during the period was coordinated by U.S. first lady Melania Trump
and Ukrainian parliamentary human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets. Parties
are working to continue humanitarian relief; residents remaining in Oleshky
still require assistance.
